Its technology transforms hormone signals into actionable intelligence for clinicians, patients, and occupational health programs. The company is scaling a proprietary biosensor from validated prototype to industrial manufacturing and FDA clearance.
About the job
As a Senior Biosensor Interface Engineer, you will develop and optimize synthetic polymer matrices for selective recognition of small-molecule biomarkers, translate polymer chemistry into scalable coating processes, and lead selectivity, affinity, and stability studies. You will also support GMP manufacturing transfer, collaborate closely with the manufacturing team, and contribute to IP strategy, regulatory technical files, and scientific publications.
Key requirements
PhD (or MSc with equivalent experience) in polymer chemistry, analytical chemistry, materials science, or a related field.
Experience with functional polymer synthesis, surface functionalization of electrodes, and characterization of selective binding behavior.
Proficiency in electrochemical methods (EIS, CV, DPV) and analytical techniques (HPLC, LC-MS, FTIR, SEM).
Fluent English and Swiss work permit; experience in a regulated environment (ISO 13485) is a plus.
