Position
As an
NGS Specialist at Alithea Genomics, you will be instrumental in our RNA-seq services and kits manufacturing teams, where precision, accuracy, and quality are paramount. This role offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge NGS technologies, ensuring the reliability of our products and services, and collaborating with a dedicated team of professionals in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute RNA-seq library preparation protocols.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and NGS instruments.
- Conduct thorough quality control checks of sequencing libraries and manufactured kits.
- Manufacturing kits in the framework of compliance.
- Collaborate closely with team members to meet production targets and ensure product quality.
- Document experimental procedures and results, write and revise the SOPs.
Qualifications
- BSc/MSc degree in molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with general molecular biology methods and work skills in NGS library preparation techniques are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with NGS sequencing platforms and associated software is a strong plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to scientific excellence.
- Previous experience in a genomics research or manufacturing laboratory is preferred.
