Employee advocacy for start-ups – A winning LinkedIn strategy

Employee advocacy is the key to communicating effectively and organically on social media. After all, your employees are the faces of your business – making sure they’re prospering will guarantee the success of the entire organisation.

During this one-hour interactive seminar led by Ricochets Communication, we will discuss what is employee advocacy and what goes into an employee advocacy programme. In particular, we will focus on how to use LinkedIn to further your (and your employees’) personal branding.
The introductory seminar will offer a mix of theory, real-world examples and interactive exercises with practical insights and actionable strategies. We will focus on:

  • How to communicate on LinkedIn, providing practical advice on how to communicate impactfully on social media.
  • Why you should communicate as a leader, highlighting how CEOs should establish a personal brand and also demonstrate their leadership qualities in their communication.
  • How to make all of your employees ambassadors, drawing on the concept of employee advocacy.

This session is a must-attend event for emerging start-ups aiming to establish trust with investors, customers and partners. It is designed for a range of stakeholders, from CEOs to communications managers and other team members – anyone who is seeking to adopt a more personal and trustworthy communication style online will find valuable lessons here.

Biopôle members who attend the seminar will then have an exclusive opportunity to register for a complimentary personalised session on Sept 19th . Four 30 minutes sessions are available. During each session, the given team/company will be able to discuss various social media strategies with Ricochets in their quest to stand out as leaders and entrepreneurs.

Robin von Känel, co-founder of Ricochets

Robin is an entrepreneur specialising in marketing strategy, personal branding and employee advocacy. He founded Ricochets, a company active in Lausanne and Montreal, to further advocacy programmes on LinkedIn. Robin also acts as an expert or administrator for a number of entrepreneurial organisations, including EO Suisse Romande, Anactis Consulting, HEC Lausanne, Level+ and MassChallenge.
