Undae joins Biopôle’s Vanguard Accelerator

Biopôle is thrilled to welcome Undae Science SA to the Vanguard Accelerator programme. This distinctive six-month initiative, offered by Biopôle SA in collaboration with Swiss Healthcare Startups, helps high-potential digital health ventures transform their ideas into market-ready products by offering tailored mentorship, actionable feedback and access to a diverse network of industry stakeholders.

Founded in November 2024 by two female entrepreneurs, Shanaz Diessler and Aurélie Stephan, Undae seeks to drive meaningful change in sleep health and clinical sleep management through its user-friendly sleep solution Noctae. The result of years of cutting-edge research, Noctae combines an AI-powered platform, a mobile application and an over-mattress device featuring a unique configuration of sensors. It is capable of detecting sleep disorders with the accuracy of a hospital setting, but in the comfort of the user’s home.Undae’s product has the potential to transform sleep disorder diagnostic capacity and contribute to a preventative healthcare model that provides faster treatment. To do so, however, the company needs to define an effective go-to-market strategy tailored to different medical fields and convince investors of the product’s scalability and multi-market impact.

We’re eager to engage with clinicians, regulators, investors and digital health specialists to challenge our assumptions and refine both our product and business model.

This is where the Vanguard Accelerator comes in. As co-founder Shanaz put it: ‘Undae is at a stage where we need to refine several strategic and operational aspects to accelerate growth and impact. The Vanguard Accelerator’s emphasis on actionable feedback and rapid iteration is exactly what we need. We’re eager to engage with clinicians, regulators, investors and digital health specialists to challenge our assumptions and refine both our product and business model. Access to this diverse and experienced network will help us validate our technology in real-world conditions and make faster, better-informed decisions.’

Indeed, as the technology evolves, so too will Undae – and what better place to do so than Europe’s largest life sciences community. ‘We strongly believe in the value of collaboration and cross-pollination within the healthtech space,’ Shanaz added. ‘Joining the Vanguard means gaining not only expert guidance, but also the opportunity to exchange with and learn from ambitious, like-minded peers. We’re convinced that evolving within such a dynamic ecosystem will be instrumental in accelerating our development.’

Undae becomes the third company to join the Vanguard Accelerator in 2025, following the arrival of Virtuosis and DigeHealth earlier this year. Former participants of this game-changing programme include: PhenomX, biped.ai, Gabi SmartCare, Impli, Sensemodi, Pneumoscope, HoliYou and Neuria.
