Biôpole SA is delighted to reveal that Neuria is the first start-up of 2024 to join the Vanguard Accelerator programme. This six-month initiative supports digital health start-ups by curating connections with leading digital health experts and expanding their access to fertile business opportunities.

A spin-off from the University of Fribourg, Neuria helps people to change their unhealthy behaviours, such as poor eating habits, alcohol abuse and smoking. Neuria proposes a unique use of interactive games to change harmful behaviours without people being even aware of it, just by playing arcade video games embedding their patented neurocognitive mechanism of action. Their game The Diner has been shown to reduce both participants’ craving for and their actual consumption of targeted unhealthy foods by 20%. These impressive outcomes demonstrate the power of innovation to improve patient’s health and lifestyle choices in a fun and accessible way.
