Swiss AI startup Deep Cube shines in Shanghai

Swiss AI startup Deep Cube was awarded the 2nd Prize at the DeepBlue Cup AI competition during the World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai. 600 AI entrepreneurs from more than 10 countries applied, among them 40 competed in the finals of this top international AI Science & Innovation Competition, according to the organizers.

The World Artificial Intelligence Conference 2019 (WAIC 2019) saw big names from more than 500 leading universities, companies and international organizations flock to Shanghai, including world-changers Elon Musk and Jack Ma as well as top-tier tech companies including Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Alibaba, Tencent, Huawei and Ping'An.

One of the highlights was he DeepBlue Cup International A.I. Science and Innovation Competition. Supported by swissnex China, Deep Cube, a leading artificial intelligence healthcare technologies startup for Dermato-Oncology and skin beauty, participated. Matt Morawski, BDO and Co-Founder of Deep Cube, represented the Swiss AI startup at the competition. Deep Cube is focussing on medical image diagnosis in the fields of skin beauty and skin disease with AI.
