The event was held at the Uptown Basel innovation campus and attended by a wide range of Swiss and international healthcare startups, investors and stakeholders. PeriVision and Roche presented insights into tele-ophthalmology concepts for deeper insights into eye diseases and more patient-friendly care pathways.
In particular, they want to explore the use of PeriVision’s eye testing platform in clinical trials to create more robust endpoints through more frequent visual field testing in the patient’s home. In this way, the ophthalmology trial of the future will bring higher patient comfort, more reliable data and lower costs.
