MEDEUROPA COMPLETES FIRST FRENCH INVESTMENT, JOINING FORCES WITH THE CENTRE CATALAN D’ONCOLOGIE OF PERPIGNAN

21.01.2020 – MedEuropa, a European company dedicated to the treatment of cancer, has finalised its partnership with the Centre Catalan d’Oncologie ("CCO"), one of the main radiotherapy centres in the Occitanie region. This transaction is MedEuropa's first investment in France. MedEuropa is joining forces with the medical team of the CCO to ensure the quality and continuous improvement of its medical services to patients in the region. The CCO is one of the largest private radiotherapy centres in the South West of France, treating nearly 2,000 new patients per year. This partnership with the CCO follows MedEuropa’s recent investment in MVZ Gamma Knife GmbH in 2019. MVZ Gamma Knife operates two reference centres in Germany, specialising in radiosurgery, in particular in the treatment of brain tumours. MedEuropa, owned by Telemos Capital, has the ambition to become the independent European leader in radiotherapy and is therefore continuously looking for new partnerships and alliances with leading medical teams.
