MoleSense has been awarded the Swiss Innovation Challenge 2025 during the Tag der Wirtschaft 2025 in Basel. The Swiss Innovation Challenge honours pioneering ventures across Switzerland that display top-tier innovation, leadership and business impact, thereby celebrating achievements within Switzerland’s innovation ecosystem. The two founders Ata Golparvar and Gian Luca Barbruni were able to accept the award in person from Federal Councillor Guy Parmelin and received the winner’s cheque worth CHF 20,000 from Christian Lindner – former German Federal Minister of Finance.
MoleSense was recognised for its mission to redefine maternal healthcare through its technology — a novel molecular wearable device aimed at non-invasive, continuous monitoring of pregnancies, especially high-risk cases. The startup’s approach combines cutting-edge nano-engineering and wearable-tech to track biochemical markers such as inflammatory proteins and steroid hormones in real time, enabling earlier intervention and smarter decision-making for mothers and clinicians.
Winning the Swiss Innovation Challenge not only brings prestige but also highlights MoleSense’s role as a key player in advancing Swiss deep-tech innovation in medtech and women’s health.
