As the VP of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our organization. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market penetration within the chemical and life sciences industry, focusing on enterprise SaaS solutions.

  • Building and leading a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive individual and collective success in selling enterprise SaaS offerings.

  • Identifying and targeting key accounts, establishing strong relationships with key decision-makers, and closing strategic enterprise deals to drive revenue growth.

  • Collaborating closely with the executive team to align sales efforts with overall business objectives and drive product development based on customer feedback and market demands.

  • Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and challenges, and adjusting sales strategies accordingly.

  • Representing the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our brand, expand our network, and generate leads.


To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 20 years of progressive sales experience, with a strong focus on selling enterprise SaaS solutions to the chemical and life sciences industry.

  • A proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth within the target market in the enterprise SaaS space.

  • Deep knowledge of the chemical and life sciences industry, including key players, market dynamics, and customer pain points.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team in the enterprise SaaS domain.

  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate market insights into actionable sales strategies for enterprise SaaS solutions.

  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence key stakeholders in the context of enterprise SaaS sales.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for innovation and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) is a must. Proficiency in French and German is a plus.

  • A background in chemistry, science, and/or engineering is a plus.
