Cellestia Biotech, a privately held Swiss Biopharmaceutical company with strategic focus on developing first-in-class therapies to control pathogenic gene expression by selective inhibition of previously undruggable transcription factors in the cell nucleus is looking for:

 

Research Associate with Molecular Biology and Biochemistry experience (80-100%)- 12 months contract

For this role, we are looking for a highly motivated Research Associate to join a team of PhD level scientists to provide support for Cellestia’s drug discovery program. The candidate must have hands-on experience, with good communication skills, highly organized, passionate for translational research, ability to work in a fast-moving multidisciplinary environment.

Job Location:

Superlab Suisse at Biopôle, Epalinges (VD)

Required scientific skills:

·      Recent PhD graduate or M.Sc degree in Life Sciences / Molecular Biology / Biochemistry or CFC with minimum 3 years’ experience.

·      Must have experience in mammalian cell culture.

·      Must have experience in co-immunoprecipitation, chromatin immunoprecipitation and Western blotting.

·      RNA extraction, cDNA synthesis, qPCR.

·      Consumables and reagents management.

·      Capacity to work independently and in a team environment.

·      Excellent organizational and record keeping skills.

·      Technical report writing.

·      Proficient in English.
