About the role
MoleSense is looking for an early-career scientist to lead the physics, simulation, and microfabrication of its wearable microsystems. The role includes designing and simulating MEMS-based microfluidic structures, developing fabrication processes, validating prototypes, and collaborating with electronics, biochemistry, and software teams to transform physical principles into manufacturable medical devices.
Key requirements
PhD (or equivalent research experience) in Applied Physics, MEMS, Mechanical Engineering, Microengineering, or a related field
Hands-on experience with COMSOL Multiphysics, microfabrication, FEM simulation, and experimental validation
Strong foundation in fluid dynamics, liquid/solid interfaces, and MEMS device design
Experience with prototyping, simulation-driven design, technical documentation, and cross-functional collaboration
