About the role
MoleSense is looking for an early-career scientist to lead the development of next-generation aptamer technologies for hormone sensing. The role includes SELEX, post-SELEX optimisation, aptamer validation, binding assays, and performance evaluation, while working closely with the biosensing team to advance technology development, scientific publications, and intellectual property.
Key requirements
PhD, postdoctoral, or equivalent research experience in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical biology, biomedical engineering, materials science, or a related field
Hands-on experience in aptamer development, SELEX, post-SELEX optimisation, and aptamer-based sensing assays
Strong understanding of molecular recognition, affinity, specificity, stability, and DNA nanotechnology
Excellent experimental planning, data analysis, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
