Speaker : Virginie Verdon
Virginie is an experienced chairperson and board member, who has served on numerous boards of startups and SMEs in Switzerland and France. She acts either as an independent director or representative of investors or major shareholders. She is often called by company founders to optimise their board. She helps them to assess the functioning of the board, to rethink the composition of the board and to recruit new members.
Fascinated by organizations in transition, Virginie took part in two IPOs, led a full privatization process and restructured various SMEs as well as large corporations’ departments in multicultural environments. Virginie is passionate about governance and the impact of the board on companies’ performance. This is the reason why she developed the program of the Startup Board Academy!
