Biopôle career event for life scientists
Dear SV Postdocs and PhD students,
Would you like to learn about the career opportunities in the biotech companies and start-ups around you?
The EPFL SV Postdoc association is happy to invite you to the Biopôle career event for life scientists, taking place Thursday the 8th of March 2018 at the SV faculty.
Biopôle is an emerging scientific and industrial park located at Lausanne Épalinges. Founded just a few years ago it already hosts more than 30 companies and start-ups and is planning to expand over the next years to become a major regional cluster of the innovative life science industry.
During the event, the Biopôle Head of Business Development & Corporate relation will introduce the science park and his vision for the future development.
Five speakers will be on the stage to present their companies, currently hosted by the Biopôle, and share the experience of their own career development in the academia and the industry. They will also talk about the potential job opportunities and the profiles they will need in the near future and give some hints on how to succeed at the job interview.
The presentation will be followed by the networking apéro with the speakers.
