Association RÉFORMER

RÉFORMER is an inter-cantonal initiative led by the six French-speaking cantons to address growing imbalances in postgraduate medical training. Some regions or specialities struggle to attract doctors (whether in training or already qualified), while others concentrate most of the resources, to the detriment of equitable healthcare coverage. In response to these challenges, RÉFORMER proposes a new approach: structuring and harmonising training pathways in close collaboration with health authorities, hospitals, universities and doctors in training.

The association acts with a clear political mandate, a representative steering committee and a shared vision of more coherent, equitable and sustainable medical training. Three employees currently work in the team: Sara Gabrione, Director, Danielle Marton, Executive Assistant, and Walid Zaddam, Head of Operations.

RÉFORMER is developing an innovative digital platform that provides a structuring tool for postgraduate training programmes, enabling them to organise the recruitment process for doctors in training in a coherent manner and to obtain shared indicators on their current situation and on the future needs of different regions, particularly at the cantonal level.
