Adaptyv Biosystems announced the launch of Proteinbase (proteinbase.com), a single hub for experimental protein design data. The new resource already hosts over 1,000 novel proteins, each with computational predictions, experimental validation, and the method used to design them.

With Proteinbase, Adaptyv aims to address longstanding challenges in the protein engineering community: scarcity of open experimental data (including negative results), lack of standardisation in protocols, and difficulty in benchmarking design methods across datasets.
