The Vanguard Accelerator welcomes DigeHealth

Biopôle SA is excited to announce that DigeHealth is the latest start-up to join the Vanguard Accelerator programme. Designed to propel promising digital health ventures forward, this six-month initiative from Biopôle SA and Swiss Healthcare Startups offers tailored mentorship, expanded industry access and strategic support to drive market acceleration.

Founded by Nour Ghalia Abassi and Lyle Halliday, DigeHealth is pioneering new ways to monitor gut health through continuous, real-world data collection. Their innovative wearable device captures bowel sounds, heart rate, heart rate variability and activity data 24/7, providing a richer, AI-powered understanding of digestive health and its responses to environmental stimuli.

DigeHealth’s technology opens new possibilities for diagnosing, monitoring and managing gastrointestinal conditions, nutrition and dietary intolerances. Backed by clinical research, including studies on bowel sound correlation with endoscopy outcomes and the impact of lactose intolerance, DigeHealth is helping researchers and healthcare providers gain crucial new insights into gut health.

‘The Vanguard Accelerator offers a unique platform that aligns perfectly with DigeHealth’s strategic objectives,’ said Nour Ghalia Abassi, co-founder and CEO of DigeHealth. ‘The programme’s emphasis on real-world feedback and iterative development will be instrumental in refining our digital health solutions. Access to a diverse network of experts – clinicians, regulators, procurement specialists and IT experts – will help us accelerate our product-market fit and go-to-market strategy.’

Being situated at Biopôle places us at the heart of Switzerland’s vibrant life sciences community.

DigeHealth’s move to Biopôle and the Digital Health Hub underscores its commitment to advancing research collaborations and scaling its innovations in gut health technology. Abassi added: ‘This proximity to leading research institutes, healthcare providers and fellow innovators will facilitate knowledge exchange and meaningful partnerships. Access to the Digital Health Hub’s infrastructure will support our development efforts and enhance our visibility in the industry.’

DigeHealth joins a growing community of Vanguard Accelerator start-ups that includes Virtuosis, PhenomX, biped.ai, Gabi SmartCare, Impli, Sensemodi, Pneumoscope, HoliYou and Neuria.
