Ferring+You
As part of the Ferring strategy to strengthen its Biologics portfolio, you lead Downstream (DSP) development activities including process development, characterization and validation. In addition, you supervise technology transfers and DSP scale-up.

Your day at Ferring

• Lead DSP Development in compliance with the Quality requirements related to CMC development activities of biologics.


• Support interactions with health authorities.


• Design and implement a lean downstream development strategy delivering high quality, rapid and cost-effective biologics development programs.


• Implement and sustain lean tools in the lab such as 5s at the bench, visual management systems, Kanban.


• Be accountable for lab area and equipment. Make sure that all equipment are maintained and calibrated. Make sure that stock of chemicals/consumables is at right level.


• Coach and guide junior scientists or technicians in the planning and the execution of their work.

Behind our innovation…There’s you

• Master’s degree or PhD in bioprocess sciences.


• At least 5 years of experience in DSP Development of Biologics.


• Experience with monoclonal antibody and CHO cells with, ideally, experience with Adenovirus/AAV and HEK cells.


• Communicate orally and in writing fluently in English.


• Clear understanding of the Quality requirements related to CMC development activities of biologics.


• Be an entrepreneur.


• Be a team player.


• Demonstrated ability to operate in a matrixial environment.
