Valérie Fehlmann – Agence Now
Director of the NOW* – Communication Agency, Valerie Fehlmann built a career of 20+ years in the world of communication agencies and possesses extensive experience in the development of strategies.
She holds a degree in global communication, a Master of Science Degree in Mass Communication from Boston University (1995), as well as training courses in the management of international organisations from IDHEAP (1996) and digital marketing (2016).
After developing her skills in Geneva- and Lausanne-based communication agencies such as Publicis and Grey Worldwide as Project Manager, she joined Parenthèse Communication SA in 2002 as Account Director. She became the agency’s Director in 2014, rebranding it Parenthèse NOW*, then NOW* – Communication Agency in 2017.
Alongside this career in communications, Valerie Fehlmann continues to undertake training courses in individual coaching, team coaching, management, sustainable development and digital marketing.
Deeply touched by humanitarian causes, she volunteered for associations such as UNICEF and Sid’Action during her studies. Today, thanks to her position as Director, Valerie offers her agency’s pro bono communication services to various projects.
Thierry Weber, MD – Vivactis
Thierry is Founding Partner and CEO of Vivactis Switzerland (www.vivactis.ch) @Biopole, as well as Partner of Vivactis Group. Holding a doctorate and degree in medicine, he worked as a physician in various hospitals (Switzerland and South Africa). He then had the opportunity to join the pharmaceutical industry, before moving on to the medtech sector, where he held various positions in medical marketing. He presently lives in Switzerland, in the “Health Valley” area, a renowned international hub in the life sciences sector, where he frequently acts as advisor for start-ups and SMEs from this sector.
Thierry is passionate about scientific communication, medical marketing and digital health. As a side activity, Thierry is lecturer at Lausanne University Business School (HEC UNIL), in charge of the “Healthcare Strategy and Marketing” module of the Healthcare Focus. Thierry is also President of the Vaud BioMed association, which gathers mainly service providers specialized in life sciences (www.vaudbiomed.ch).
