Stemedica's adult stem cell technology is based on thirty years of research and clinical experience conducted by researchers and clinicians in the former Soviet Union, Europe and the United States. The technology and scientific know-how advanced by these researchers and clinicians has either been acquired, or developed internally, by Stemedica and its subsidiary operations.
To further substantiate these discoveries, and to continue to advance the science achieved by these leaders, Stemedica has established a cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) compliant laboratory and manufacturing facility in San Diego, California. Additional laboratory and manufacturing facilities have been established in Moscow, Russia and in Seoul, Korea. Stemedica International S.A. is currently working with Biopole to launch a similar research and manufacturing facility in Lausanne during the second half of 2010.
Stemedica has built an experienced team of international scientists and medical professionals who have been involved for the past four years in extensive stem cell research and product development including: a) confirming the safety, reliability and efficacy of the Company's science and technology; b) advancing the Company's protocols for isolating, expanding, processing, manufacturing and master banking of stem cells; and, c) refining Stemedica's methodologies and protocols used in clinical applications.
Stemedica continues to advance its adult stem cell technology for pre-clinical and clinical studies in the United States and around the world.
