Founded in 1964, the ISREC Foundation is a non-profit organization, under Swiss Federal supervision.
The ISREC Foundation selects and supports cancer research projects that help the transfer of knowledge and collaboration between fundamental research and clinical research: the translational research. The goal of these projects is to provide new paths to novel therapies and clinical approaches, as well as to explore cells and their interactions with their environment in order to act on the causes of cellular dysfunction.
The ISREC Foundation also support projects encouraging the scientific and academic future in cancer research, in particular by supporting PhD students in biology or medicine taking part in doctoral programs.
