Founded at the end of 2004 by the public authorities, Biopôle SA, a private company, was given the mission of developing the land situated in the north of Lausanne. In November 2005 it presented its shareholders with the development plan of the site, and since then everything has progressed at a steady pace - the search for partners, investors, tenants and international prospection. The result: work started in 2007, and the first tenants arrived on the site at the beginning of 2009. The gateway to the site was erected and the flag raised. The whole Biopôle team have moved into their offices, and invite you to join them. In perfect collaboration with the relevant administrative departments of the Canton of Vaud, Biopôle SA spares no effort to make your arrival on its site an easy step.

How Biopôle works
Biopôle SA is the owner of the land on which the site is located and issues surface rights to interested investors. Leases are signed between the investors and the end-users. Investors award construction contracts themselves.
